The Minneapolis/St. Paul Church of Christ believes that our children represent one of the most important ministries of the church. Our children today are faced with so many worldly influences. Some we never dreamed possible only a few short years ago.

The purpose of our Kids Kingdom program is designed to address and aid our children in facing these challenges with spiritual knowledge, positive relationships, and fun. Our goal is to assist, not replace, parents in raising children who believe in Jesus Christ and choose to follow his teachings in adulthood.

We use a great curriculum; it is designed to be fun. Each lesson uses an integrated mix of Bible Stories, life applications, crafts, games and activities. We also have a music specialist visit classes every other week for fun and new music time. The classes begin at 6 months of age and go through 6th grade. All of the lessons are age appropriate. Most classes spend some fun time in the gym every week.

All of the teachers are volunteers and go through a screening process before they are eligible to teach in Kids Kingdom. We give assigned numbers to all children who go into one of our classes, we keep two teachers with children at all times, and parents are welcome to drop in on class any time. We also have a "hall monitor", who is available to assist teachers, or retrieve a parent for a child who needs them. We want our children to be safe at all times.
